Every request is checked against the client the user belongs to, so one client's data is never mixed with or visible to another.

Data protection

Separate data for every client
Each client has its own database schema. Users can only reach the data of the clients they are authorised for.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Data is encrypted between systems with TLS 1.2 or later, and at rest with AES-256.
Role-based access
Every user has a role that sets what they can see and change, from read-only stakeholders to administrators.

Hosted on Amazon Web Services
Thalomis runs on AWS, using its enterprise-grade infrastructure, security controls and compliance certifications.
Backups and disaster recovery
Regular automated backups and a disaster recovery plan mean your data can be restored quickly if something goes wrong.

Choose where your data lives

Your business data is always kept separate from every other customer's. The hosting options differ in how much dedicated infrastructure sits underneath that separation, and where in the world it is.

Shared reference data, such as currencies, cost driver types and market indices, isn't customer data. We maintain it centrally, and in every option it flows in automatically and can only be changed by us.

    Standard

    Your contracts, suppliers and cost models sit in their own private schema within our shared database in our standard US region. Account and login records are held in a separate, common area.

    You get your own database on its own server, physically separate from every other customer, in our standard region. Shared reference data is copied in automatically and can't be changed from your side.
